The NMU Parent and Family Program offers proactive outreach, via email, from the Dean of Students Office working alongside partner offices, to help support your student in their academic journey here at NMU. The information provided is general in nature and very different from the information you access from either the Proxy Request or the Parent Partnership newsletter. You can expect, on average, one email a month about some very specific topics, including:
- Financial Information
- Academic Info and Supports
- Life Outside the Classroom
- Parent and Family Program Opportunities
We hope the information we provide will serve as a way to start conversations with your students about various processes here at NMU which might affect their ability to stay in school if ignored.
