MARQUETTE, Mich.—Northern Michigan University instrumental and vocal jazz groups will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, in Reynolds Recital Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.  

            The concert features the NMU Jazz Band, Jazz Combo, Jazz Workshop Ensemble and the Wildscats vocal group. They will perform music by a variety of composers including Benny Carter, Bob Brookmeyer, Bobby Timmons, Hank Mobley and Fred Strum.
