NCLL Offers Weaving Class

            MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer a course called “Weaving with Frames—a Unique Style” at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, June 21.
            This will be a two-hour workshop taught by Sue Wilson, owner of Art Therapy, will lead the two-hour workshop. Participants will learn to create a piece of art by weaving yarn over a simple frame loom. They should bring a variety of items that include beads, blind slats, paper or fabric, weeds, grasses and flowers, as well as an old picture frame or window without glass and a skein of yarn. This class will be held at the instructor’s home in Gwinn. Participants will meet at Jacks Superserv in Harvey.
            This class is $10 for NCLL members and $15 for non-members. Register by June 16 by calling 227-2979.
