Ian Torchia, a member of the NMU Nordic ski team, was among 16 athletes nominated to the U.S. Cross Country Ski Team. The incoming junior plans to accept the nomination to ski for Team D (or development) and attend two summer training campus in Bend, Ore., and Anchorage, Alaska.
