Northern Michigan University is the top Upper Peninsula school in the 2016-17 “Best Online Colleges in Michigan” ranking released by affordablecollegesonline.org. NMU is 10th among all state public and private institutions on the list.

The description for NMU includes the following: “The NMU Global Campus allows students to begin degrees or complete degrees online. Distance learners can choose between an associate degree, two bachelor’s degrees and eight graduate degrees.”
