What are Forums?
The Department of Theatre and Dance began holding forums in the fall 2020 semester as a way to provide more opportunities for our students to talk to working professionals in the theatre, dance, and entertainment industries. Topics and speakers are chosen by faculty and staff with input from our Student Advisory Board. Any NMU student is invited to attend. All students in a Theatre or Dance Department major are required to attend.

2023 SEASON PREMIERE PARTY!
Welcome, Wildcats! Join the Department of Theatre and Dance during the first week of classes for our annual season kickoff party at the Forest Roberts Theatre. At this free event, students will meet our NMU Theatre and Dance faculty, make some new friends, discover the 2022-23 season, learn about auditions and technical opportunities, and discover how they can become involved with theatre and dance at Northern. Plus, enjoy some complimentary refreshments!
