STUDENTS:

The NMU Donor-funded Scholarships application system for the 2024-25 academic year is now closed. Applicants will be reviewed by various committees across campus throughout March and April. Awards will be added to student accounts from mid-May thru early summer.

**You can check the status of your applications by logging into your MyNMU account and visiting the Foundation Scholarships system**

Note: If you wish to be considered for need-based awards, you will need to file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.gov.

Visit the Financial Aid Web site for information on the FAFSA application process.

The Financial Aid Web site also has information on additional sources of aid.

If you have a question about a scholarship application you have submitted, contact the Financial Aid Office at 227-2327.

Scholarships that are offered through the NMU Foundation are privately funded by donors who have created these opportunities for a variety of reasons. Often, these scholarships or endowments are established to honor a family member, classmate, mentor, friend or faculty member. In some instances, the scholarship supports a specific area of study or students from a particular region.
